Mondovi Rural Life & Country Schoolhouse Museums

Three museum buildings, plus and authentic cabin, offer a delightful glimpse into our local rural history. These local history gems are located in Mondovi's "Tourist Park". Museum Hours are 1:00 to 4:00 P.M., June through August. Mondovi Area Historical Society members staff these Museums. Donations for admission are greatfully accepted.

The School House Museum ~~ formerly Waste Valley School, is a real one room school house from the old days - complete with desks, great pictures and artifacts. The Old Machinery Museum Local History Museum The "tourist" park is a favorite site for family reunions and camp outs. Electric equipped camping sites are available for a small fee and the Cabin can be reserved through the  City of Mondovi   for group events

City Hall Museum This Museum is a "must see" stop for anyone interested in Mondovi Area History. Seasonal Museum Hours are 1:30 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., April through October. The Museum is staffed by helpful historical society volunteers during this time.
